While we pride ourselves in doing everything possible to make sure you have the best shopping experience possible, there’s nothing we love more than hearing about how much fun you have here at the Arboretum of South Barrington. Below is an e-mail we received from one of our newest shoppers and fans describing her first experience at the Arboretum:
“My husband and I recently moved to the Northwest Suburbs after living for 18 years in the city. After living in the city so long we were accustomed to wonderful options for restaurants, fashion and nightlife and were concerned with what we would find in the Schaumburg/Hoffman Estates area. Neighbors of ours recommended several restaurants in the Woodfield Shopping Mall , which we enjoyed and may re-visit, but nothing outstanding. I also was not impressed with shopping at Woodfield Mall, because of the traffic, lack of parking and the huge crowds inside the mall.
Recently a woman that my husband works with at Motorola, recommended that we try a restaurant at The Arboretum of South Barrington called L’Eiffel Bistrot. She knows my husband and I love wine, good food and live music… all of which this restaurant have.
Last Sunday we and a group of friends attended a Cirque performance at The Sears Centre. We decided it was the perfect time to try out L’Eiffel Bistrot for a late dinner and cocktails. The restaurant was above and beyond what we expected. The setting was warm and romantic…I felt like I was in Paris…without the jet lag. The service was perfect, our waiter made us feel like welcome guests and the food was delicious. We will definitely come back and this time we will make time for shopping (I saw a huge DSW and an LL Bean store.. which the kids would love). Parking is a breeze; we were able to find a spot right in front of the restaurant. Best of all, the Arboretum is so convenient for my friends who visit from downtown. It is located right off I90 at the Rt. 59 exit on the corners of Rt. 59 and Higgins Road. I am already scheduling a night out with girlfriends for drinks and appetizers at Cooper’s Hawk. The Arboretum is like having a piece of the city right here in the suburbs! Life in the ‘burbs just got a whole lot better.”
